We all have memories, some wonderful and some painful. When we have a particularly painful memory, we can become held back trying to navigate life, trying to achieve goals, or trying to stay in relationships with others. We will use a variety of strategies to cope with our pain to include inflicting pain on others, disconnecting from others, or using food, drugs or alcohol to attempt to pacify our anxiety.

Everyone struggles with various types of cravings. Most of these cravings are attempts to pacify the body or reduce stress. Sometimes these cravings turn into addictions. Some people use exercise, some use sleep and others use meditation to calm things down. Exercise and meditation are great ways to reduce stress and are great things to crave.

Other cravings are not so beneficial in the long run, for example, craving certain foods. Still others use cigarettes or alcohol to calm their system. Of course, excessive eating has a negative impact on one’s health as does excessive smoking and drinking. The challenge with escaping these types of cravings, is the craving we get rid of often turns into a new craving. Many people who quit smoking start gaining weight replacing cigarettes with food.

Instead of quitting a particular craving, which of course makes one a quitter, find we it more effective to remove the actual problem causing the stress in our system thereby allowing the craving to naturally be released.

During the Release from Cravings workshop, you will learn simple techniques that are not only very effective but work rather quickly. These techniques work directly with the mind and body to identify and remove whatever it is that is causing your stress in the first place.

If you have tried everything else to release your cravings and are looking for an effective and efficient way you can release your cravings on your own, then click on the link below to sign up for the next workshop.
